Painted turtles are a species of reptile present in the Mouse Territories.

Appearance and CharacteristicsEdit

Painted turtles most are commonly found in streams and ponds. These small, slender turtles are known for the yellow striping that runs down their snout, neck, legs and tail.
Turtles eat fish, crayfish, snails, tadpoles and insects. They’re active in the spring and summer. When the weather turns cold, they rest at the bottom of lakes or burrow into the mud.
