Greetings. How do you like my edits so far? I was wondering if perhaps you could import the template Family Tree into this fandom. I'm attempting to recreate Farrer's family tree, which appears in "The Black Axe" in chunks throughout the comic panels and not whole (one panel shows the complete Family Tree, but the text is illegible).
I'm not very good at coding such a complicated family tree. I painstakingly copied Farrer's family tree from "The Black Axe" series using draw.io and then indicated the gender on each family member. If someone knows more about coding, the diagram at https://mouseguard.fandom.com/wiki/File:FarrerFamilyTree.png should prove to be most helpful.
I wanted to let you know about an interesting initiative Wikia is rolling out. We're reaching out to a few trusted admins first about it because we'd really like to involve you guys specifically. Would you be open to working with us and other Wikia Community members in coming up with ideas for our programs? You'd be invited to join developer round-tables, co-author quizzes and other content, and maybe be invited to the Wikia offices in June (we would fly you out of course). I realize that this is intentially vague, but if you're interested and think you can be free to travel around late May - early June, and feel comfortable signing an Non-Disclosure Agreement, we can put you on our list of interested members.
We will of course let you know of more details in the future, but if you are interested, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm!
My name is Jorge and I am on Wikia's Community Development (and a fan of Mouse Guard as well. I have a signed poster in my room. It's amazing.) We recently saw the wiki get a much deserved spotlight to highlight some of the great content here. However, since I noticed Ads will be activated soon, the main page may become unsightly. I am interesting in adding content to the main page and making sure the two-column system is in place for when ads become activated. Let me know if you have any input, questions, or suggestions!
Nice to see a another Mouse Guard fan around these parts, it gets fairly lonely here generally ;) I wasn't actually aware that the wiki got a spotlight, but thanks for the effort if you were a part of it (it seems to have had a decent effect, judging by the activity feed =D). I'm also unaware of these Ads that will be getting activated... Would you mind briefly explaining to a noob like me what this actually means? And if you're offering to give the homepage a much needed repair job, then I'm all for it. Thanks for the help :)
Oh, and I'm increbibly jealous of that signed poster, they're hard to get a hold of here in NZ =/, though I have recently ordered a signed Sketchbook and a signed Print xD
Certainly! The ad is just a small square drop-down on the righ side of the main page. It looks fine, but it will usually cause pages with single columns to be pushed down, messing up their look. My plan is to just insert a two column spread, make an about section to introduce new visitors to the wiki, maybe put in a gallery or some featured media. Just something to catch one's eye. I dig the slider how it is.
Also, unrelated, I missed the opportunity to get a signed copy of the RPG book. I'd still really love to play that sometime.
Sounds like a really good idea, so thanks for the help =) May I also suggest adding links to a few of semi-decent (perhaps Featured) articles? If so then it could include the Battle of Lockhaven and Frostic pages, and perhaps a lesser known character such as Loukas or Delvin? Also, maybe a link to a real life article like Archaia Entertainment...?
And that sucks about the RPG. I bought an unsigned copy over the internet published by Titan Books, solely for the extra reading on the background and lore of the series - which is totally worth it, by the way. I'd love to give the game itself a go but I don't really know anyone else who's into that sorta stuff xD
Wow! Just saw the new homepage, and I must say, I wasn't prepared to see what I did: the changes you've made look absolutely amazing and thoroughly professional :D I'd just like to take the opportunity to thank you for all your help and let you know how happy I am with the results. It really does look outstanding!
