Bronwyn was a female mouse, a Matriarch of the Mouse Guard, and the secret lover of the Guardmouse Celanawe.
In the spring of 1115, and at the request of the oldfur Em of Appleloft, Bronwyn assigned Celanawe to travel with Em across the sea north of the Mouse Territories to recover the lost Black Axe. Bronwyn did not expect Celanawe to return, and had his name removed from almost all paperwork in the Mouse Guard archives.[1]
Bronwyn was killed by a stray wolf on the twelfth eve of the sixth moon cycle (Summer), 1116. She was succeeded as Matriarch by Elanore.[1]
