Conall, also referred to as Cornall and Connal, is a male Beetle and companion of Roibin. He helps out around Lockhaven by delivering messages.

When Roibin was a bard, before he joined the guard, he encountered a trio of mouse younglings tormenting a beetle and pulling at his legs. Disgusted, Roibin chased away the mice. Grateful for his intervention, the beetle followed Roibin wherever he went and the bard named him Conall, meaning "The Little One Who is Strong".
